Nerve and Muscle Testing (EMG/NCS) Since 1989

Our five technologists are all certified and have the most up-to-date training.  Each is a Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT).  To earn the CNCT credential, a technologist has to meet three requirements:  eligibility (through work and education), a rigorous written and practical examination that tests competency in NCSs and an ongoing commitment to learning.

To earn CNCT certification, our technologists had to demonstrate an understanding of the following:

  • Principles such as human anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology
  • Basic nerve conduction techniques, instrumentation and technological operation of NCS devices
  • Clinical disorders
  • Problem solving
