Kevin Z. Liu, MD, MBA received his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine and his master’s in business administration at the Freeman School of Business in New Orleans, LA. Following this, he completed a transitional year at Blake Medical Center and a three-year residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. During his PM&R residency, he served as chief resident and presented two case studies at the annual assembly for AAPMR regarding neuralgic amyotrophy and neurogenic TOS. He has had a particular interest and focus on electrodiagnostic medicine throughout his residency training with over double the minimum number of EMG procedures performed per ACGME requirements. His areas of interest include focal neuropathies, brachial plexopathies, and cervical and lumbar radiculopathies. Dr. Liu believes in prioritizing patient comfort and providing the best experience possible. Patients often comment that their testing experience was much better than what they were expecting or better than their previous experiences. In his free time, he enjoys playing volleyball and competing in tournaments.
